The Mediterranean Island, North Cyprus, has got everything. It is one of the best tourist destinations, boasts of some of the lovely beaches. Most of the sandy, silvery beaches are here in northern Cyprus.

We planned to stay there for a week but extended our holidays for we were so obsessed with the beauty of the island- bel endroit.

My wife considers me to be an eager-beaver. Yeh, It's true that I love my work but I am really not so nor do I adore my work more than I adore my wife.

We have been married for the past two years but owing to work pressure I was not able to give much of my time to my wife (and she never even complained about it for she understands me well enough). Our marriage anniversary was to be on 12th of August. It, completely, was out of my mind. It sometimes happens that you forget certain important dates.

But my wife was not so. She takes everything into consideration and never leaves any moment of intense happiness that could be caged or photographed or framed. Two days back she indirectly hinted me about it and I understood. ...
... She, looking into my eyes dotingly, asked me have I ever heard of couple island – Cyprus? “No,” Said I and got busy in reading the news paper. She didn't talk about it the next time....

I looked for the information on Cyprus North for I wanted to visit that island with my wife. I wanted to surprise her. I was impressed but you know, I do not believe much or rely on the information sometimes because there are many advertisers who just for the sake of attracting visitors present entirely a different picture of the place you wish to go to or you want to know about. They actually cajole you into coming to that place or an island.

....Then I remember a friend of mine, right after his marriage with his tall girl friend went on a holiday trip for some fifteen days. I rang him up for I wanted to know something about his holiday- experience. He is one of my best pals who, I know, would not pass on any wrong information. I was really surprised when I heard him saying GO TO NORTH CYPRUS over the telephone. He said that his holiday destination was North Cyprus Kyrenia and he is again thinking of going there.

U K's leading tour operator...but I didn't inform anything about it to my wife. We do not celebrate our anniversary with much ado we just used to have our lunch or dinner somewhere in an Italian restaurant for she likes Italian Food a lot. But this time I had some different plans.

I surprised her with the tickets in my hand as our anniversary gift. She was thrilled to bits. She said I read her mind and know her heart cravings. I think I really do for I love her a lot. The next day we were on the island itself.
