Car Spoilers - The Beauty Of Performance
Though the curves of a car if the car is well designed contribute a lot to its looks, all of the beauty of the car is not in the curves alone. A lot of the beauty lies in its performance. For example all steering wheels are nice but if a car handles very nicely its steering wheel will start to look more beautiful than that of a car that does not handle quite as well.
Therefore for a component to look great ideally it should contribute to its looks and to its performance. And one such product is a car spoiler. Car spoilers are highly visible and therefore make a big impact on the looks of the car. You would have seen them on the back of the car and perhaps wondered what they do. Well what they do is to produce a downward force that makes the car hug the road more. How do they produce this force? Well it is an aerodynamic force produced by a negative lift wing. Just as an aircraft's wings produces a positive lift force to make the aircraft fly, the car spoiler produces a negative lift force which pushes the car down. This force is more when the speed of the car is high.
At high speeds therefore the car will be more ...
... stable and not bounce around as much due to its momentum, if there is an imperfection on the road. This makes you able to enjoy the high performance of the car more and it makes your ride safer as well. Though car spoilers are added on and tend to stick out, they need not look as if you have patched them on to a stock car. You get OEM style spoilers that dovetail with the car and look as if they came with the stock car.
You also get carbon fiber spoilers which are light in weight. That means by adding them you do not add much weight to your car and its power to weight ratio is not significantly affected. Car spoilers improve the looks and the performance of your car and thus give you great value. You can see the latest ones at www.ilovebodykits.com.
