It has long been a rule that Japanese enterprises will send overseas graduates to their motherland after they are employed by Japanese enterprises. And in the head office of the enterprise, there are mainly Japanese employees. However, this form of distribution has changed lately. Many Japanese enterprises go to other countries to employ fresh graduates and one of the requirements is they must work in the head office in Japan. It is said that Japanese enterprises want to improve the tendencies of enterprises and stimulate the competitive consciousness of personnel. And Chinese graduates are most popular among them. The change of this employment tendency is most likely to influence the “bowls” of Japanese university graduates in the long run.

The director of a Japanese enterprise who is in charge of recruit introduced that “In the end of February this year, we held a job fair as well as written examinations and interviews in Dalian University of Technology in China. Later we decided to employ three of those graduates. Though the number we employed was not large, we were surprised to find that there were so many excellent ...
... students during written examinations. The three graduates we decided to employ have been sent to study in a Japanese school. It is estimated that they will be sent to the head office in Japan next year.”

In November last year, RECRUIT, a Japanese employment agency company, held job fairs in Beijing and Shanghai of China with the requirement of having to working in head office in Japan. 22 enterprises including Japanese financial institutions and large factories attended the job fairs. The director of RECRUIT said that “We hope to provide an opportunity to work in Japanese globalized enterprises for Chinese excellent university graduates. And we will continue to launch campaigns that hire foreigners.” According to the survey by RECRUIT, among Japanese large enterprises with more than 5,000 personnel, about 1/4 have the intention of employing foreign university graduates.
