Britain is one of the sovereign states that are so interesting. Not only that we are attracted to its monarchies but there are also world-renowned and wonderful places to visit here. It is not surprising then to know that there are so many people who dream of at least visiting this country if not living here.
Some of the best places to visit in Britain would be the Tower Bridge, the Lake Windermere (the biggest lake in England), and the Stonehenge (one of the most famous sites in the world, composed of earthworks surrounding a circular setting of large standing stones. The Eden Project is also one of the most exciting modern projects in the UK. The complex in Cornwall houses 100,000 plants in two giant transparent domes, each recreating different global climate conditions.
Britain is also known as a developed country and has the world’s largest economy by nominal GDP and seventh-largest economy by purchasing power parity. This reflects on the benefits that people from Britain get such as free healthcare, paid holidays, maternity leaves and pensions for employees, etc.
It is also interesting to know about British food ...
... which is far different with other cuisines and cultures. Traditional cuisine includes the Sunday roast, the afternoon tea, sausages, pies and pasties, cheese, pudding and more. One of the most popular British food is fish and chips which is typically consisted of battered (or sometimes breadcrumbed) fish (traditionally cod or in Australia, flake, but sometimes haddock or plaice), which is deep-fried and accompanied by deep-fried 'slab-cut' chips.
British is really such an interesting place to stay. It is amazing to observe the kind of life that Brits live by, the British food they eat, their wonderful territories and more about them. No wonder this is one of the most renowned countries in the world.
