A CCTV Dome Camera is probably the most popular camera in the security market because of its unobtrusive, inconspicuous design, as well as in some cases the ability to mask the direction of where the lens is pointed. A CCTV Dome Camera is usually the design used for most Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) Cameras because the lens can be pointed in any direction within the dome, and the direction of the lens is usually masked from onlookers. What makes this feature even more desirable is that one can do all of this remotely from a computer or mobile phone, depending on the DVR being used.
