Perfumes are part and parcel of our daily lives and it is hard to imagine stepping out from home without having sprayed or dabbed on a scent of our choice that helps make us feel wonderful and confident.

Perfumes have a rich and interesting history stemming from the recorded history of Egypt. As is a well known fact the Egyptians were pioneers in most fronts had a very advanced civilization and as is to be expected they had perfumes or fragrances. They indulged in the sheer wonder of the different aromas that would assail their senses. The Egyptians and even the Romans loved their baths and would indulge as often as possible.

During the early 16th and 17th centuries in Europe bathing unfortunately became unpopular and as a result infrequent. The wealthy who could afford to import fragrances took to masking their body odors with perfume dousing themselves often in exotic scents. It was in fact a sign of wealth to be as perfumed as possible and a person’s status in society was set by their ability to buy perfumes, as cheap fragrances were not to be found during this period. As time when on and perfumes became more ...
... and more popular different variants came into being such as the eau de cologne.

Nowadays, perfumes have come into their own and are now more like accessories enhancing our natural beauty and not simply for body odor masking. We have a range of options to choose from suiting different preferences, such as floral, fruity, spices or even musk. Designer perfumes are of the best quality and guarantee consistency of their fragrances throughout the day. Though expensive, it is now possible to find designer cheap perfumes sold at lower than the original cost as the seasons change. If you check online regularly you may be able to secure your favourite brand at much lower the cost.

Perfume is the finishing touch to our attire. When we step out we can be confident in our appearance and know that we leave behind just a whiff of a seductive scent so people remember us even after we have left a room. Unlike the people of old, the secret is to dab your perfume and not let it over power you or it could be off putting, as it is an enhancement of who you are. Perfumes will always continue to play an important role in the lives of man as more and more varieties are created and introduced to us.
