Everybody Is Always Looking For The Shortest Way To Get Rich Quick

There are very few shortcuts that might work. For the most part the reason so many fail is because they are looking for the dream, the get rich quick scheme that will require very little work on their part. Because of everybody looking for this there are so many scams out there. They will say something like this 'We will Do all The Work for you", Yeah right, if they are doing all the work then why do they even need you.
Some people do come up with a great idea and then put up a site and later on you do hear of these people selling out for millions of dollars. While this may actually happen I doubt very seriously that these people are buying into some scam opportunity that gives them a web site and does all this so called work for them. We hear stories about these people but what we don't hear about is the hard work that it took them to make a go of their business idea.
This past week I found myself getting a little bored with all my stay at home work and I started looking for other options online. I go to Starbucks every day so I figured if I could get a part time job at the local Starbucks that I would save a ...
... small fortune on what I spend on Coffee plus by keeping busy I would lose a little weight and make a couple of hundred dollars a week which would be just extra income for me. I started doing some research and reading every article I could find about where to find work in non traditional places.
Careerbuilder can be a great place but the only problem is that when you apply for something you are just one of over a thousand who will probably apply for that same job. Almost all of the other job boards that are out there are stealing the job postings from places like Craigslist. unfortunately most of us will never figure this out until after we have spent money signing up for these other job boards.
Now I did find a few good possibilities in my search but I also found a lot of scams that are prevalent out there. Any company that asks you to pay some sort of training deposit you need to stay away from because chances are this is where they make all of their money. I had one of these call me on Friday and set a time for an interview for Saturday at 2pm EST. My first clue that this was a scam was the fact that they did not call me at 2pm as scheduled but instead at almost 2:30pm.
Most every person all has the philosophy that if they are offered a way to get a lot of money that requires very little on their part then they will grab it. This is why Nigerian Scams, phishing, Lottery Scams, and others are one of the fastest growing trends on the Web in todays day and age.
Somebody sends you an email that says they know of a large fortune that is being held because they can not find any next of kin so that if you will allow yourself to be the next of kin that you will then receive a small percentage of these mega millions. You say to yourself sure why not I just give them some of my info and then I'll never have to work again.
The one that I find so hard to believe that people actually fall for is the lottery scam where your name was picked at random. If they pick these names at random then where are they getting the money to give away. I see these emails that say you won part in the Microsoft International lottery or the Coca Cola international lottery but you have to figure that if Microsoft had a lottery then the email would come from an address from one of their domains and not some free service like that of Yahoo or Gmail.
If you want to protect yourself you have to know that if you are selling something on a site like Ebay and somebody wins that item and then sends you a check for more than the amount than the item sold for then something is wrong. Do not believe the them when they tell you to use the extra for shipping and then to wire them back the difference using Western Union. You would almost think that Western Union were owned by the country Nigeria since the Nigerians make so much money using this service.
The best and the most sound advice that I can give you is "If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is". I am not saying that that every time this is a scam because there just might be one that comes up every now and then that might be legitimate but before doing anything that sounds too good to be true investigate it and do your research.
