This year New Zealand will be in limelight due to the 7th Rugby World Cup. New Zealand will host the Rugby world cup much to delight of Rugby lovers by staging a nationwide festival highlighting the real New Zealand to the world. This will also attracts thousands of tourists to the land to experience the beauty of the country.

New Zealand is quite famous as tourists’ destination. Along with Rugby world cup tourists can have fun while visiting some of the popular holiday destinations. Apart from the excitement of Rugby World Cup 2011 you can also enjoy holidays in New Zealand. You can enjoy New Zealand’s unique Maori culture and heritage. It would be a great pleasure whether it’s a Maori concert and feast with traditional Poi or haka, a visit to a marae, a Maori guide on an eco tour, or discovering authentic Maori arts and crafts.

This land is famous for its colossal sheep stations and glacier-fed lakes, Pukaki and Tekapo. These lakes and a river running through it offer opportunities for fishing and four-wheel drive safaris.

Queenstown is famous for its winter festival. It’s a home for bungy jumping. Thrill seekers can enjoy white water rafting, jet-boating, ballooning, mountaineering, kayaking, skydiving, and mountain biking. Take a jet boat ride on the Shotover River, experience a flying fox ride at Skippers Canyon, go for a nature walk, pan for gold, or just sit back and enjoy the wonderful scenery.

Lake Wanaka is beautifully located near to Treble Cone and Cardrona ski areas. This region is very attractive full of natural beauty. It also boasts New Zealand’s only Nordic ski area. Because of varied landforms, tourists can enjoy canyoning, whitewater sledging, rock climbing, water skiing, rafting trips, wind surfing and kayaking.
