Austin, Texas is the capital of Texas and home of the University of Texas. It's a lively town well known for its live music scene, outdoor activities, and good food. This, along with an eclectic variety of shopping options, makes it the perfect place to hold a convention.

Best Locations in Austin for Conventions

There are many Austin convention center hotels throughout the area. Many of them are located downtown, which conveniently puts attendees to Austin conventions in close proximity to the myriad shopping and dining opportunities there. Austin is also home to multiple running, hiking, and biking trails. Take a guided or self-guided tour of the State Capitol building, see the mass exodus of bats from under the Congress Avenue Bridge, or visit the Austin Museum of Art.
