When I enter into a store I like to get what I'm there for and get out. I don't spend additional time wandering around, looking at all the hundreds of things to buy. The way I approach each trip is comparable to a mission. The best course of action is to go directly to what I need and then checkout. My sister thought she would get me to go shopping by providing me some walmart coupons online. Apparently she thought it was time for me to buy some new clothes.

She also knows that I like spending my money almost as much as I like shopping. If it were up to me I'd wear the same jeans every day until there was nothing left of them. Apparently my sister wasn't alone in noticing that I had been wearing the same clothes for some time now. My best friend had set me up for a date with a woman he knew pretty well. When he saw what I had on he looked at me and started cracking on me. It wasn't as if he were the only one. I could begin to tell that I was getting odd stares from some of the people I see regularly. usually I don't even notice things like that. Considering that I had just shaved that morning, I knew it must be the way I was dressed. My typical hunt began immediately when I walked into the store. Get the same style of jeans that I always wear. I don't even waste time to see if things fit. Shopping like this has its perks. I always know that I'm going to be content with my purchase. When it came to picking out a new shirt, my goal was just quickly locate one that would fit me and head for the cash register. As I walked through the store I began remembering how the date went that I was on the other day. The friend of my buddy clearly appreciated style because she was very fashionably dressed.

She and I had a fun time sitting at the local bar playing darts and pool. I asked her on another date and she agreed. The longer I was in the store the longer I kept remembering the date. The need to dress myself up a bit better became more and more of a reality.

How was I supposed to know what I was going to buy. Even though I am surrounded by people every day, I never look to see what they are wearing. The sales clerk must have caught wind of how out of my element I looked. I'm sure I looked like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. The clerk helped guide me toward what was trendy and popular.

Getting my new shirt and jeans didn't cost me far as much as I thought it would. We both had a fun time on our next date. When the she told me that I looked handsome, I almost fell of my chair. Then when I found out she wanted to see me again, I actually did fall. I played it off as if there was something slick on the floor. I doubt she believed me.
