Glass shower screens: Options

These days there is an endless choice of glass shower screens and enclosures. Whatever your personal taste and requirements are, there will be something available which suits your own personal taste. Obviously the traditional choice is the quadrant enclosure, where glass panels are fitted to the wall in the corner of a room by the means of a frame. These are usually equipped with one or two sliding door panels. This is a simple, time-honoured design which utilises space well but you may be interested in something a bit more elaborate.

If you are looking for something a little different you could go for a state of the art walk-through unit. This is installed in the middle of a wall by suspending a single sheet of glass opposite a shower nozzle unit by metal bars. This gives any bathroom a more contemporary feel. Another solution which uses fewer glass shower screens is the walk in option. Situated in the corner but open sided with just one glass sheet, this type of design helps spread light and create the illusion of more space.
