That will help them to minimize the hazardous effects of the accident. It is mandatory for the candidates who handle dangerous goods to undergo the IMDG training process. The training procedure makes the candidates confident of fighting a hazardous situation. Some of the things that are covered in such hazmat trainings are cylindrical control, damming, drum breach, retention, disking and diverting. Another important thing that is taught in this training is detection of unknown substances, which might prove to be dangerous goods.
