Good Food Help You Have A Good Mood

Do you ever notice that some foods make you feel better than others? I recently decided to do a little investigation into this to find out whether this is all in our heads or if it’s actually true. As it turns out, it’s actually kind of true!
Good mood food can help you feel happier and more energetic. Relieve fatigue and lift the gloom with some of these mood enhancing foods. Good nutrition can have a strong positive influence on your moods and a generally healthy diet provides you with nutrients that make depression less likely.
The foods listed below contain a few other fabulous nutrients that do our body good, inside and out. This isn’t a complete list, but some mentions should be given to.
Bananas – If you’re attempting weight loss, you might think of this as a rather lackluster fruit because it’s fairly calorie-dense. However, don’t ignore ways! Aside from being cheap, they contain antioxidants, beta-carotene and vitamin C to keep your immune system strong.

Avocados – These provide our bodies with healthy fats, are high in vitamin C and antioxidants. When you feel stressed, the body’s vitamin B6 stores become depleted. Conveniently, avocados contain B6 which, when consumed, helps to produce serotonin. Another great thing about the healthy fats in avocados – some foods such as dark leafy greens contain nutrients that need a little healthy fat to be absorbed fully. That’s why adding a little avocado to salads is a good idea.
Tart Cherries -Savor a handful of dried tart cherries before you turn in for the night and you’ll set the stage for a better mood when you wake up. Cherries are rich in a hormone called melationin, which acts as a natural sleep aid by improving quality of sleep. As we age, our body’s natural ability to produce melatonin decreases (one reason why seniors can find it harder to sleep soundly), and things like stress or artificial light can also lower melatonin.
