US car makers are still in an intense state of competition. Every one of them still wants to establish dominance over the others. Due to this, each car maker are looking for ways to attract more attention from the growing number of new car finders. These efforts include the production of fuel-efficient as well as reliable vehicles, introduction of different types of auto financing deals to help car finders in making their purchases, and providing greater vehicle options. Besides this, auto makers are also utilizing the use of commercials in promoting their vehicles offered for sale in the market.

Due to this, Chevrolet made use of its iconic character to make their latest ad of the Chevrolet Camaro more appealing. This time, Chevy has once again utilized Bumblebee, the famous Autobot in the legendary movie “Transformers” in its current ad. Given this, Chevy expects that their commercial would produce better results most especially on the sales of most ...
... its vehicle models especially the Camaro.

In the commercial entitled “Getaway”, Bumblebee both in its Camaro and battle mode dominated the entire scene of the video. The ad was able to project the Camaros innate power and impressive performance further intensified by scenes characterized by a chaotic setting. As the video progress, the Chevy Camary gradually transformed into one of the most dreaded autobot which is Bumblebee itself.

The good thing with this commercial is that Bumblebee’s appearance has not deflected the viewers’ attention from the Camaro since the ad started with the images projecting the model’s strong presence as a car. All of its sporty and muscular appearance was successfully captured within the first few seconds of the ad before it eventually transformed into Bumblebee allowing the audience to appreciate Chevy’s design for this particular sports car.

This was the second time that Chevy used Bumblebee. The famous Transformer first appeared on Chevy’s Super Bowl ad which previously captured a significant attention from the public, mainly car buyers. Chevy also hopes that the schedule that they have chosen as the release of this ad would be beneficial on their sales since this was aired a few weeks before the actual showing of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon “ movie scheduled on July 1 this year.
