The craze of Fashion Angels has quickly hit the market for designing and manufacturing high quality tween girl’s products. Established in 1996 by sisters Goldi Miller and Myra Mouloudii, Fashion Angels Enterprises, (then known as The Bead Shop) became popular for selling loose beads and strings in one simple box so that customers could make their own necklaces or bracelets leisurely in the comfort of their own homes. These boxes of beads sold in large amounts, and became popular with many people.

This led to the birth of The Bead Shop, which expanded to the massive Fashion Angel empire. The first release of Fashion Angels was a kit of cardboard dolls that came along with fabric, clothing, accessory patterns, gems, buttons and other trimmings which were used to dress the dolls. The kit was called ‘Design a Heavenly Wardrobe’ and quickly became immensely popular with tweens and other large companies. In 2006, FAO Schwarz asked The Bead Shop to install a life-size Fashion Angels boutique in its Fifth Avenue store, which led to the name switch to Fashion Angels Enterprises.

... the owners began making other kits and activity books that educated tweens about proper fashion terminology, and consisted of sketch sheets, pencils, design guides and other accessories useful for girls who were interested in fashion design. The Fashion Angels brand is ever expanding, and since 2008 it held the licence to make toys for Project Runway. In 2011, Fashion Angels partnered with Mattel and are now licensing three properties – Barbie, Hot Wheels and Monster High.

The Fashion Angels line now consists of the following products:
• Sketch portfolios with various themes such as Harajuku Style Fashion, New York City Fashion, Pet Lover Fashion, Rockstar, Glitz and Glamour Fashion, Dream Wedding, Fashion Design, Make up and Hair, Interior Design, Rockband and Tattoo Artist.

• Heavenly Wardrobes with Rockstar, Pet, Fashion and Equestrian themes.
