An article review is a type of writing that involves reading an article and providing the reader with your personal take of its content. It helps in keeping current trend and research in an academic field. it is important to note, there are several processes that have to be followed when writing an article review so as to make it easier for the reader to understand.
However, when writing an article review, you are required to read through the article first keeping in mind questions such as is the language used the best, is the article readable, what is this article trying to say, is the message clear and how accurate and useful is the information. For example will the information that is in the article make people change their mind about the subject matter. In addition to this, you should note that if the language used in the article is confusing you should not try to interpret, just state that the language is confusing.

Write in your words a single sentence that will describe the theme of the author the argument and the message that the author was trying to deliver. In addition to, it is in this step that you are supposed to tell whether the article is fair, good or excellent and you should give the reason to support your argument.
Finally, make your final evaluation of the article by asking yourself some questions like is the article well written? Is the information clear? Is there any message that is missing? By answering these questions you will be able to come up with your personal evaluation. Note that if you are writing an article review for a class as a writer you should connect an article to real life experience for example an instructor can write on how one can further his study and become successful even in his careers.
It is also important to note that when writing an article review you are doing more than a book report so you should focus on what the article is about. Your review should be able to reflect your personal opinion on the article or how it affects you on the field on which it was written.
After the above process you should be able to make a conclusion stating why you would or would not recommend for the article.
