If you eat more proteins you increase the rate at which your body burns fat (metabolism). This is because when you eat fibers and protein your body requires a lot of calories just to digest the same. In addition, you experience rapid weight loss when you eat more proteins as they help to build and maintain lean muscle, which also increases your metabolism. Proteins also suppress your appetite by keeping you fuller for longer.
