I am so sorry for treating you this way
I'm sorry if I seem to be pushing you away
I know you like me, and yes I want you to stay
The truth is, I think of you each day

I noticed that you have stopped being mean to me
I noticed that you always try to cheer me up
I want you to know that I like what you're doing
I'd like you to know that I appreciate everything

I have learned to love you ‘cause of all the things you do
Sometimes I get confused, if you still like me
But then you come and show me that you do
I'd like to thank you for showing me real love

You're not a perfect person and you're no prince
But that doesn't matter; I like you just the same
Now that you know, I hope you understand
I hope you don't stop expressing yourself
