Ayurveda is the system of traditional medicine native to India. It is a form of alternate medicine originating from south Asia and particularly in India. Ayurveda has a rich culture in India and south Asia, and has a host of treatment and therapies ranging from severe ailment to day-to-day treatment. Ayurvedic treatment is based on the theory of five elements that composes the Human Body. These five elements are earth, water, fire, air and sky. According to Ayurveda, these five elements compose the entire universe including human body, and focussing on them can help get rid of a lot of issues with the human body. In west, Ayurveda is considered as a system of complementary and alternative medicine, which is an aide of the existing system of treatment.

The main reason that can be attributed to the popularity of Ayurvedic products is the variety of treatment and therapies available and the use of natural herbs and ingredients. The history of Ayurveda is around 5000 years old, which has been evolving through these years and encompassing more and more treatment and therapies. Today Ayurvedic products are being prescribed by doctors across the globe for their effectiveness, along with other form of treatment and medication for speedy recovery and lasting wellness. Since these products are clinically examined and are scientifically researched and approved, they are widely prescribed by the doctors.
One of the most widely used, recommended and prescribed Ayurvedic product is the Ayurvedic soap.
