Learning My Craft Comes First

When we were going to get married my ex fiancé and I had dreamed our honeymoon to be in Spain. One of the things that really inspired as the painter that I am was all of the intricate Gothic buildings. Please do remember that I said he was an 'ex fiance'. He decided to call things off six months before we were going to get married. To this day we remain friends even though it took quite a bit of time before my heart healed. When we had decided to get engaged, my folks had wanted to give us a bit of money for a gift. Instead they wanted to give it to me. Along with the money that Mom presented to me, she also included an Avis coupon code. Mom looked at me and simply smiled.
My mom and I looked at a bunch of different itineraries before deciding that I might as well just go to Madrid and Barcelona, where I had wanted to go to begin with. At first I had a little bit of reservation considering I was still getting over from the breakup, but then I started getting excited about the trip. I needed to spend time healing and what better way to do it then to go on my own independent excursion. After all, I definitely ...
... had been wanting to see all of the amazing architecture that these cities held. The thought of actually seeing the Gothic Cathedral took my breath away.
While I was on my trip I even got a chance to take a cooking class during a break from all my drawing. One of the most popular culinary arts in Spain, paella, was taught to all of us in the group. Among the class, we had a contest to see who's meal turned out to be the best. I'm not wanting to toot my own horn, but I walked away with the prize. With my new prize, I could back up the old saying that artists make really greatchefs.
There were a couple times during my trip that I would stop and pause and think about my ex, it was odd to think that he could have possibly been with me. Then I would take in my experience and accept that all of the beauty and joy that I was immersed in was meant for me. In a way I was pleased that I was able to focus my attention completely on everything that I wanted from this vacation.
The whole time I really did a lot of soul-searching and truly found the essence of what it means for me to be an artist. The cultural experience left me feeling strongly connected to the world and gave me a keen sense of the direction that I wanted to take my artwork. Actually being able to physically be in the place that inspires me changed my life.
Enjoy your trip with the help of avis rental coupons or you may also enjoy Thrifty Car Rental coupons.
