When You Buy Mascara

Makeup items like mascara and eye liners, which are applied very close to the eyes, need to be chosen carefully. Buying any mascara in the market may turn out to be a wrong move. Clean, hygienic and sensitive mascara, which is healthy for your eyes yet looks fabulous, is what we all desire for. Buying such mascara has several steps.
It is vitally important that you do not use the tester available in your cosmetic shop. Sharing a mascara bottle with so many people who have used it on their lashes is a convenient method of contracting eye infections. Taking a look at the tester to get an idea of the colour and the applicator is a much better idea. Your hair colour is a determinant. If you have black, brown or reddish hair, then a black colour mascara suits you better and if you have blond hair, brown would be a likely colour. Different shades of black and brown are available, depending on whether you need darker or lighter lashes.
The shape of the brush also plays a role in proper application of the mascara. They are either curved or straight. Curved wands are more popular as it coats more lashes in one sweep. The ...
... straight brushes make it easy for you to reach the corner lashes. Having both types of brushes may come useful. Sometimes your favourite brand of mascara may not have a curved brush; in that case you could buy mascara that comes with such a brush and use it with your brand. This way you would have a straight and a curved brush. Make sure to clean the brush every once in a while to prevent and reduce bacteria growing on them.
Choosing whether you want waterproof mascara or water soluble is another useful decision to make. Non waterproof mascara is easy to remove as they dissolve in water. This is the most common type of mascara and convenient to use. But if you are concerned about getting in the water, outdoor activities in the sun or getting tears in your eyes, then waterproof mascara might be convenient to wear.
If you tend to get allergies and irritations from using mascara, then switching to hypoallergenic mascara can solve that problem for you. There are different types of formulas included in mascara, like anti-clumping formulas, thickening formulas and lengthening formulas to give more volume, length and colour to the lashes.
