E Liquid is one of the things that those who are new to e smoking will have to learn about. Basically, this is the term that is used to refer to the liquid which contains the propylene glycol that produces smoke, nicotine and the flavoring. It is also known as e juice. When the user pulls on the e cig, the atomizer heats up the liquid and the vapor is created. In most cases the cartridge is pre filled with this liquid. However, there are several people who like to create their own liquid and fill up their cartridges.

The Flavor

When smokers first shift to e cigarettes they look for a flavor that would be similar to the flavor of their traditional cigarettes. The taste and flavor is what many people consider to be very important. Although menthol and traditional tobacco tend to be the most popular flavors there are dozens of other flavors that are also available for those who would like to try something new. Flavors like coffee, peaches and cream and a wide range of other options are currently available in the market. Another important feature of e liquid that users look for is the way it feels in the throat when ...
... the vapor is taken in. This is known as throat hit. In the past the earlier e cigarettes failed to provide smokers the actual throat hit. Although this can be done by increasing the nicotine levels, the newer manufacturers today adjust the formulas to provide better vaping experience at any nicotine strength.

How is the Smoke Produced?

E liquid produces a visual smoke to provide a realistic experience to the users. Most people prefer thick vapor which is much like normal tobacco smoke. The substance which is responsible for creating this smoke is propylene glycol. Some of the brands use vegetable glycerin since it is a healthier alternative. Also, it produces a thick vapor but does not carry flavors that well.

Those who plan to fill up their own cartridges will have to follow several different safety measures. The liquid should be kept away from pets and children. Filling up the cartridges has to be done carefully. The cartridges do not have to be over filled and the liquid should never be ingested. Although this liquid is said to be less harmful than cigarettes, nicotine is poisonous and some of the other components that are used for making the liquid means that it can be quite harmful when ingested. Thus, e liquid is basically a very important component of e cigarettes and is responsible for creating the actual smoke.

MUST BE OF LEGAL SMOKING AGE TO PURCHASE and USE.
