Finding yourself talking to a man you've never seen before, during a skiing afternoon, about the way to find the ideal Calgary mortgage rate, is indeed quite strange. We were going back up to the top of the mountain, set for another excellent descent through the woods, and that's exactly what happened.

We were having fun skiing off-piste, improving our competences in deep powder, and loving the excellent snow conditions resulting from the recent storms. During such a great day, every time we were not skiing down we were also taking time to talk about innovative plans and project for our lives. We mostly talked about what we aimed to do in our profession in the future, as well as how we had to start considering the possibility of buying our own house and stop paying rent. We both felt it was the right time to do something about this, and having a good job surely would let us to be eligible for a loan: however we didn't know where to start from.

We felt that getting some information could only be the best thing to do in order to really persuade ourselves to consider the option of purchasing property. Even if we knew this would bring major changes, we were looking forward to it.

Well, it turned out this was one fortunate encounter, and we immediately felt that the stranger was one of the top brokers in the region, definitely someone who knew and loved his job. We asked him to join us for a couple of runs, during which he gladly gave us general advice and confirmed how we would easily be qualified for a loan, and then parted ways exchanging business cards.

As obvious, we spent the rest of the day thinking about this, and eventually decided we would have paid him a visit the following week. That's exactly what we did, and in only a couple of days we knew everything we had to know about our Calgary mortgage rate, signed a pre-agreement and are now looking for our future apartment!
