Sandblasting sculpture is a kind of engraving methods which use high pressure air to drive emery and other abrasive materials and strike the surface of stone in high speed. It uses cutting plotter and sculpture the content on adhesive paper, and then uses adhesive paper as sandblasting protective film, put the protective film on the surface of engraving object, remove the engraving content, and do sandblasting sculpture.
Worker puts stone on CNC router, fix stone, and then engrave words or patterns by using engraving system designed by computer to control cutters of engraving machine.
CNC routers for stone is triaxial linkage. It can do plane engraving and 3d engraving, but sand-blasting machine can just do plane engraving.
CNC routers for stone is full controlled by computer, and has good engraving effect, great speed, time-saving. However, sandblasting sculpture must need two or more workers.
CNC routers are safe and reliable; basically not need people to manage. While, sandblasting must need people wear protective equipment, and irrelevant personnel do not access during working to avoid an accident.
