If you have recently bought or leased a new Mercedes Benz then you may be over protective of it, after all you've paid a lot of money for the latest model and you want to make sure it stays brand new.

So what action can you take? How exactly should you clean your Mercedes Benz so as to ensure it doesn't get scratched and so that all dirt is removed? It's a hard question.

Well let's go through a few of the major guidelines for looking after your Mercedes Benz, courtesy of centralcontracts.com, and then you can reach a decision about which is the best option.

1) Stay away from automatic car washes. Automated car washes are not manufactured to thoroughly or safely wash your car as they are manufactured to allow as many cars to pass through in the shortest time possible. It's all about money. You should also know that the rollers could possibly cause damage to your vehicle by pulling off pieces of trim, damaging wing mirrors, radio aerials and spoilers. So it could be a good idea to try out another cleaning method.

2) What about a hand car wash? A hand car wash can result in a more thorough clean than ...
... automated car washes but unfortunately they too have their negative side. Manual car washes, much like an automatic car wash are not intended to safely clean your car and achieve the best possible results. Also if you clean your Mercedes Benz yourself you aren't very likely to have the expertise to clean it to a professional standard and are likely to scratch it.

3) You should use a quality valet service. If you go to your local Mercedes Benz dealer then they may have their own valet service, if this is the case, it would be a good idea to use it. If not, they could have connections to a valet service or may be able to inform you of a reputable service to use. Ideally you should use a valet company that specialise in Mercedes Benz cleaning but these can be hard to locate. Therefore you might have to visit a general valet service.

4) What level of service can you expect? The range of car cleaning services available include interior detailing and shampoo, full hand wash and vacuum cleaning, upholstery and fabric cleaning, leather treatment, engine cleaning, dent removal, polishing, paint protection, window tinting, windshield repair and rust proofing. Knowing which services are available to you means that you can make requests and it ensures that you get value for money. In fact, a lot of people who decide to take out Mercedes-Benz contract hire deal from centralcontracts.com have said that they do in fact use such a service.

5) Compare companies before making a commitment. You need to talk to a couple of valet firms so that you can compare their services and prices and settle on the company that offers the most. It is vital that you do this as you want to get a great experience from your Mercedes Benz, so it is important to get value for your money.

Making good use of car cleaning services will make sure that your car is kept in top condition and that you travel in comfort and style, which is just what you expect if you have just taken out a Mercedes Benz leasing deal.
