My Sports Shoes Period

The period of returning to the university is my sports shoes period. As a freshman, I was just an unadorned girl who didn’t know how to dress up myself.with the new circumstance around our university, so we seldom went shopping in the commercial district. During most of time, we wore sports shoes for class.

I had many pairs of sneakers in my 4 years college life. I attended classes and taken sports exercises with them. My favorite sneaker brand was Coverstar, a sports shoes brand that is famous in the students. They were so soft and comfortable that I often wore them to take part in all kinds of activities, such as go to class on foot. Most girls wearing high-heeled shoes have to go to class by bike, otherwise the shoes always make their feet uncomfortable since there is a long distance between the dormitory to classroom. At weekends, I always climbed mountains in sneakers or other activities with my friends. But it was a problem when I took part in a speech or a competition in stage if I wore sports shoes yet. Then it came to graduate school, our girls had to wear high-heeled shoes for interviews. My senior year was supposed to be the best time of my life, the final episode of innocence before embarking on a career. The term near the graduation, I had my first pair of high heels shoes. This was a pair of black leather shoes of DAPHNE brand. I wore the shoes to take part in many interviews. I think the shoes had a kind of magic that given me the positive strength and brought me good lack. At last, I got a good job in a foreigh trad corporation.

I began to wear high-heeled shoes everyday when I went to work. The reason is very simple, just because I was too short and as a secretary I always attended meeting with my boss. I was a short office lady among the sectaries. At that environment I have to wear high-heeled shoes in order to be looked not short in the group. In fact, wearing high-heeled shoes can make a girl looked more beautiful and straight espacially in uniform. So I like wearing high-heel shoes although it makes me tired and uncomfortable.

And now, I can wear any shoes I want. That is really wonderful. I almost wear sports shoes to go anywhere I need. In general, I wear sports shoes for commuting and change to high-heeled shoes in my office. It is such a good idea that many colleague of mine follow the example of me. In Shanghai, the traffic is always very heavy, and I choose to commute by underground. Since I have no car to drive, I don't feel depressed in the least. I even feel I am younger and more energetic than before. Thanks to the sports shoes, I enjoy the time of commuting.
