The Best Family Snapshot We Could Have

While I was waiting in line for a big sale I realized that there had to be a quicker way to shop and a better way to save money. My son and I waited in line for over 7 hours. The cutting edge TV that we had our eyes on made it all worth the wait. Then, when the line really started going forward, we were told that the store had sold out. We headed home with our head's hanging low. The time that we had spent together was a good chance for us to bond, but I think we both would have rather bonded over a day at the lake. The people that were waiting behind us in line kept talking about their Newegg coupons. I didn't understand what they were talking about until I got home and found it on the computer.

The TV that we were waiting in line for was looking right back at me from the homepage on the site. It was kind of funny to me. My son and I could have just stayed back at the house. This website had a lot more as well. I took a good hour or so just looking through all of the different products.

... went ahead and bought it for her as well. As a present for my son, I thought I would surprise him with a remote control helicopter. They both spent a lot of time out in the backyard playing and I could just see the two of them having fun with the new toy.

It's been quite some time since I've seen my wife get as excited as she got when I gave her the new camera It's been on her wish list for a couple of months now. She'd been waiting for me to make the time to go with her to the store to choose one. During the work week I am lucky to get home, grab dinner and kick off my shoes. Next thing I know it's time to go to bed and start the workday all over again. We'd talked about going shopping but the nearest store that carried the kind of camera she wanted was over 45 minutes away. We seldom get a chance to do many recreational activities on the weekend. We use that time for catching up with our own parents So when I got to sit at the computer and help my wife find what she was looking for it was actually relaxing and fun.

By the time Friday arrived, we had already received all of the packages. When my son took his new toy out back to play with it, my wife managed to snap a great photo of the dog jumping up in the air. It's now one of my favorite pictures of our dog. As for me, well I got a moment to sit back and enjoy one of my favorite sitcoms that I hardly ever get a chance to watch.
