Occupational Therapy jobs are in great demand. A job in occupational therapy requires not only an extensive understanding of physical health but mental health as well. It requires the professional to have a wide understanding of human mental and physical health issues. It is also required that you take the licensing or registering exam. These licensing exams are administered by the National Certification Board of Occupational Therapy. OTA’s or COTA’s, instead of taking Baccalaureate and Master’s Degrees can also take the programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy to qualify for licensure exam.
