My name is Eddie Z, and I’ve been trading electronically for the better part of two decades. Through lots of trials, and admittedly a few errors, I’ve learned exactly what it takes to make the very best day trading computers. I’ve dedicated lots of time into indentifying what works, what doesn’t, and what never will. I’ve written a comprehensive guide that covers components like RAM, motherboards and multiple monitor setups. And – I’m actually a trader myself, so my advice comes not in the form of satisfied customers (although I’ve got lots of those too) but actually from firsthand experience.

A Stock Trading Computer is not just a monitor, keyboard, and hard drive. It’s a well-oiled machine that is as great as the sum of its parts and performs even better. A stock trading computer must be able to download and upload real time information with incredible accuracy. And it must be able to do this day in and day out without fail.

Understanding the demands of a stock trading computer, it blows my mind how many people out there simply take the computer ...
... market at face value. Can you imagine if they treated their trades like that? It’s important to understand the dynamic of how your trading computer will be used in order to get not only the best deal, but the best efficiency out of your machine.

Research! Research! Research! It’s the first and arguably most important step into getting a trading machine. If you want a high quality day trading system, first you have to know what “high quality” is even relative to. While you don’t need write an in-depth dissertation, a few notes would probably be a good idea. Compare and contrast. Ask questions. Learn the meaning to terms like SATA III, DDR3, and RAID configuration. Understanding a little bit of the lay of the land so-to-speak can go a long way.

Along with your research, know this: NO store-bought/pre-packaged/well-marketed boxed version of a trading computer can compare to a customized one that is built with professionally configured individual components.
