Samsung Galaxy S Plus Brings Enhanced Speed To Bestselling Android
The original Galaxy S has been one of the biggest selling smartphones of all time and has sold more than any other Android device to date. People were unsure when it was first released about its larger 4" screen which was unheard of at the time. While there were initial concerns that this would make the phone too large these concerns were put to bed when people actually got their hands on the device and found it to be the best phone for entertainment and web browsing, and has since becoming a much imitated device.
Samsung already has a sequel on release that incorporates some of the latest phone developments but they have also noticed that the original phone still remains hugely popular. This is why they have decided to reissue the original with some tweaks and upgrades to make the award winning handset even more desirable for today's phone market. The Galaxy S Plus is not really a new phone in its own right, as in most areas it remains very faithful to the original.
Physical the Galaxy S Plus is exactly the same with the same dimensions and the same buttons on its exterior. The screen is also the same fabulous 4" ...

One of the main differences of the Galaxy S Plus is that it now comes with a faster 1.4GHz processor making this even speedier than the original, which was not exactly known for being a slow phone.
The Galaxy S Plus will also come with the latest Android Gingerbread operating system which was only available on the original through an update, as it originally shipped with the archaic Android Éclair. Gingerbread offers numerous advantages to the Google OS found on the original including many tweaks to speed and performance. The Android OS is combined with Samsung's TouchWiz interface that comes with excellent messaging options including email and instant messaging support, threaded SMS and social networking.
One other area that has seen improvement is with the 3G connections on board. These now provide you with great speed for mobile internet connectivity as well as a faster phone all around. These three upgrades make the Galaxy S Plus a speedier phone than the original and add a significant boost to all major features of this top Android phone.
The Galaxy S Plus still comes with excellent entertainment features on board including excellent music and video playback and support for YouTube videos. The phone comes with Adobe Flash support, an FM radio and access to Android Market for apps and games.
The phone also comes with an excellent 5 megapixel camera with touch focus, geo-tagging and support for 720p video recording. Photos and videos can also be uploaded to online services like Facebook and Picasa.
The Galaxy S Plus on paper only offers a few minor tweaks to the original design, but these updates to the processor, operating system and 3G connections enhance virtually all features of the phone. It makes for a more enjoyable online experience with the Galaxy S Plus and a speedier phone all around.
