3d has found a market like never before. It is booming, growing and exploding today. Suddenly everyone wants to be part of the band wagon. Short films, full length features, 3d animation, 3d games, it’s all there out in the market waiting to be explored. Actually, come to think of it, there is no waiting, once it’s on the shelf; it’s gone before the news reaches you. Statistics say that every 1 in 3 American saw a 3d movie last year. A vast majority of that percentile just swears by the incredibility of 3d movies.

Hollywood is investing in 3d movies like never before. It seems like in keeping pace with its viewers, it too is trying to make 1 in every 3 movies a 3d experience. Such is the boom of this right now that every big company is coming out with its version of 3d T.V. Every house hold is trying to get a blu-ray disc player and every grandparent is as excited as there grandchild about viewing those incredible moments of 3d. Once again Statistics suggest that at least 70% of those who have watched a movie in 3d in the theaters want to relive the experience within the confines of their homes as well.

... is the allure of this genre that any 3d movies news, whether it be about the latest release, upcoming ones, blu-ray disc release, everything just everything gets lapped up. The international 3d society is very positive and enthusiastic about the future of 3d movies. And one does not really have to look far to realize this for a fact. Just check for the number of releases scheduled of this year and the next. Mindboggling is the word that comes to my mind. It is no surprise therefore that when the news of Avatar’s sequel came to the forefront the whole 3d movie goers world was filled with excitement. A not such an avid 3d buff, like me too cannot wait to see a few of the genre like Avatar’s sequel, Pirates of the Caribbean In 3d and who can forget the already released Rio. Children’s film or not, adults loved it just as much.

3d Movie News is the most awaited entertainment news right now. We lap it up, we gloat over it and we make our weekend plans based on it. Let’s just hope that the news keeps flowing and the genre never dries up for it truly is an incredible experience to be part of the 3d movie world.
