Bottle green color is also very appealing and gives a gorgeous look when used along with golden furniture.
Also check the pattern of the carpet. A small carpet in the center of the room with a floral pattern will enhance the beauty of the place. On the other hand a simple self print would do well if it comes to wall to wall carpeting of your living room. Also the patterns of light in the room will mater when it comes to the reflection of light and its effect in the surrounding. Try to make a good deal in the carpet store. Request the sales person to allow you to take the carpet at home and try placing it with your walls and interior to find out what kind of impact it pays.
