ODA Architecture founder Eran Chen, who was working at Perkins Eastman when first hired in Atlas charm bracelet, made those arches an integral part of the facade's design.

The building's interior is yet more fanciful, embracing a lavish, dark glamour that wouldn't seem out of Atlas Cube Earrings inside the sumptuous lair of one of James Bond's more refined arch-nemeses. The doorman works from a leather-padded vestibule inside a brown and black lobby. The elevator cab is outfitted in faintly reflective gold and black fixtures.

The black door of one fourth floor apartment has a bulbous nickel knob that resembles a sea anemone. The door opens onto a stunning, high ceilinged, light-filled apartment, its 17-foot-tall Austrian windows Atlas cube lock pendant by the aforementioned black cast-iron arches, its finishes bespeaking a level of sumptuousness uncommon in the more cookie-cutter condos of the moderately rich.

"It's sensual," said Vicente Atlas cube pendant, who designed the interiors and common spaces in the 36-unit building.
