The Maserati Quattroporte features an eight cylinder 4,244 cc V90° engine. The car performance is among the best in the luxury sedan market segment: the Quattroporte has a top speed of 164 mph, an acceleration time of 5.5 seconds and 405 hp power output. The engine unit is made in aluminum alloy and silicon and it is designed to give power and maximum comfort. The Quattroporte dynamic handling is also enhanced by the MSP, the Maserati Stability Program which has been specifically developed to improve safety. Thanks to a series of sensors that constantly monitor the car’s handling, the Program helps enhance the driver car control in particularly critical situations by working together with the anti-lock braking system, the electronic brake-force distribution and automatic slip reduction.

The power steering is light and easy to use at lower speed and, at the same time, it is direct and accurate giving the driver precise feedback even at higher speed. With a weight distribution of 49% in the front and 51% on the rear, the Quattroporte weight distribution is unique in its category. This balance allows the Quattroporte to achieve superb handling and top performance for a sedan. The vehicle is also equipped with the Brembo braking system which provides an unbeatable stopping power.

The lighting functions have been improved in the Maserati Quattroporte: the S model features LED technology lighting similar to the ones of the GranTurismo, the Adaptive Light Control System is boasted in the front cluster whether the lights automatically track the steering wheel’s movements.
