When I first moved to our new home I knew this wasn't going to be an easy task. I was moving my husband and two kids across the Midwest and out to the Pacific Northwest. This was definitely not a tiny relocation. I figured if I could just buy a lot of the basic necessities new once we got to our new home that I would be able to save a lot of money on moving fees. There were lots of items that we use every day that I knew I could buy when I discovered a couple of Walmart coupons online. This would definitely help us save some money.

I hadn't ever really researched saving money like this before. One of the lady's that I work with was telling me how she uses the service regularly. The thing about it all that really brought me peace of mind was that besides saving money I was also already familiar with all of the products. The thought of having to move was already becoming enough of a burden. I have to admit that I was excited about the undertaking, but it was still stressful. The last thing I really wanted to worry about was using all different laundry detergents, unfamiliar body washes, or even worse having ...
... to switch brands on toilet tissue. I can't think that my family really desired everything to become different either.

All of our belongings made it out to our new house a lot swifter than I would have thought. The moving company that we chose managed to get everything across the country without any disaster. My aunt had left me a large rocking horse when she passed away. Of all the things that we moved, it was the one that got me the most nervous. The manner that everything got stored and organized really put calm to the storm of all my worries.

Our shopping adventure to get everything stocked up managed to run effortlessly without a hitch as well. After already spending a lot on the move, our family really needed a place where we could go and not have to pay an arm and a leg just to get what we wanted. Those first couple weeks could have been a lot harder had I not practiced my skills at frugality.

Now, every little thing seems to have settled nicely into place. It's almost as if this has always been our home. Sometimes I let my thoughts wander and I remember how being in Indiana felt. There never seems to be an unhappy moment. I know in my head that looking back to the past can easily keep me from enjoying everything that is happening now. Honestly, it doesn't take much hunting to see how nice things are.
