When I started looking for a guide to upcoming 3D movies I was expecting to find a handful to pick and choose from. I was wrong. Not in my wildest imagination did I expect that this genre would have caught the fancy so much that I’d be flooded with lists that ran into hundreds. Listed below are a few from that vast huge promise of exciting days to come. My personal favorite of the lot is “The Three Musketeers”. Can’t wait to watch that one. So, here is my list, obviously biased by my taste in movies, but the haloed angel in me tried to ensure that I include all and sundry.

• Giselle, March 2011.
• Arthur Christmas, November 2011.
• Kung Fu Panda 2, May 2011.
• Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, July 2011.
• Pirates of the Caribbean: On stranger tides, May 2011.
• Happy Feet 2, November 2011.
• Fright Night, October 2011.
• Cars 2, June 2011.
• Spy Kids 4, October 2011.
• Transformers: Dark of the moon, July 2011.

• ALvin and the chipmunks: Chipwrecked, December 2011.
• Captain America: The first Avenger, July 2011.

As I have already stated. This is definitely not an exhaustive list. There are some more upcoming 3D movies which are on the line with release dates yet to be disclosed. And of course the excitement is already sizzling in the air for the release of Avatar’s sequel. Plus there are some releases scheduled on Blue Ray discs exclusively. So, whether you are a theatre goer or the kind who likes to throw his feet up on the couch and enjoy in the comfort of your home, there is a lot to choose from.
