In the simplest terms, advertising is any form of promotion of a product/service/idea/business that primarily targets sales or increase in revenue for the organization that owns the product/service/business. Advertising is also a common practice of promotion that builds up the brand identity amongst the target groups. An advertising campaign also communicates any change about a product or introduces new products and services that would benefit customers. Advertising practices are considered an essential element of commercial as well as corporate world. Brand or business companies invest heavily to advertise their businesses or brands amongst the potential target groups. It is not misleading to quote that advertising indeed makes the brand or business world go round.

The induction of digital printing has enabled print advertisers to launch print ad campaigns easily and quickly.
Internet and mobile advertising are two latest modes of brand promotion that are poised to rule the roost in advertising industry. Personalized and customized in nature, internet and mobiles ads provide rich impact on target groups.
