Denver is a beautiful city in the state of Colarado with many attractions. Being a very populous city it is called as a city- country. The history of the city is old and dates back to nineteenth century and was founded in the summers of 1853 during the Pikes Peak Gold Rush in the Kansas Territory. This was established by the people from Lawrence who were gold prospectors. They developed a place of living on the banks of the South Platte River, and called the place Montana City. This settlement later became the city of Denver.
These gold prospectors later abandoned the city in favor of some better place. In 1958 a land Speculator- General William Lacrimer came from the eastern Kansas, and named the town site the Denver city, after the name of the Governor of the State. The city had a unique importance that it is accessible to all existing trails and is thus a good place that had been catering numerous new emigrants for long. ...
