In recent news we were made aware of the buyout of Broadview Security, formerly known as Brinks Home Security, by Tyco International who is the parent company of ADT home Security. The purchase of Broadview Security was for a total of almost two billion dollars, which makes it the largest acquisition of any security system company in history. In light of this history making transaction it is easy to see that ADT security is by far the largest and most respected name in home security. Here in South Florida it does not take much investigation to confirm this, all you would have to do is drive down any road in any neighborhood and you would get a firsthand view of the immense impact that ADTs Authorized Dealer Program has had by noticing how every other house has in front of it an ADT yard sign. The only way that ADT has been able to saturate the home security market all over the United States is with the help of their ADT Authorized dealers.

What makes the ADT Authorized Dealer Program unique from any other dealer program out there is the fact that ADT not only monitors your system through their link of UL approved central ...
... stations, but services your account with their own paid employees. Most all other dealers who have an authorized dealer program uses sub contractors to repair your home security alarm system in the event of a system malfunction. What this means for you is that there will always be a middle person to have to deal with who is not a direct employee of the company. In the end if you do not receive excellent service from the sub contractor they send out there is not much they can do except send someone else out. In essence there is no real accountability enforced when subcontractors are being used. On the other hand ADT uses their own in house employees to service your account in the event of a malfunction and if you are not satisfied with the service received the person who serviced your home alarm system has a direct supervisor who you can contact and who will take action against the employee who did not provide you with excellent service. With ADT there is a real sense of accountability which is not found in any other home security provider.

One of the other main and possibly the most important benefit to using an ADT Authorized Dealer to sell and install your home security system is that the value you will receive for your money will be far greater than if you bought your home security system directly from ADT . It is the ADT authorized dealers that have put ADT on the map in regards to the incredible volume of systems they have been able to install and monitor. The reason for this is that because there are multiple ADT authorized dealers competing for your business it allows you as a homeowner to have them compete for your business and in turn give you the best price for the equipment you are purchasing. This then means that you can negotiate for the best possible price and still have ADT as your home security provider.

In conclusion it is safe to say that if you are looking to purchase an ADT home security system, the best way to go about doing that is by having several ADT authorized dealers compete for your business. You will still be an ADT customer yet still receive a far greater price for your system.
