All first response vehicles need sirens. They need the audible warning that works in conjunction with the visible warning of flashing lights. This new vibrating type of siren can target individual vehicles and from tests and usage in some departments, it has proved to be very effective. We all need to drive with due care and attention but if we can't hear something then we can't react to it. The new sirens can be used with normal sound or the rumble effect to get drivers attention.

Always take notice if you hear sirens or see flashing lights when you are driving, you would be failing in your duty as a citizen to ignore such things. We may see flashing lights and hear sirens with regular monotony but that doesn't mean we should block them out or ignore them. Always pay attention to what is happening all around you whether you are driving or walking.
