According to the most recent statistics in Americans stress triumphs over sleep and as much as 50% of people are suffering from disorder called insomnia; people admit stress to be deterrent to sleep. Anti stress and sleep assist are terms that go hand in hand when there is no stress there is good sleep. Stress at work, stress within the family and stress due to children keep the people awake and not asleep at nights.
While it has to be learnt that certain factors of stress cannot be controlled there are some where in we can exercise control and enjoy a decent sleep at least.
Sleep has been one of the aspects of our lives that we take for granted. But we should remember that we can never survive for long foregoing sleep. Getting sufficient sleep every night means the energy flow following day will be good which will help us in giving clear thinking and mental stamina to cope with day-to-day stress.
And it isn’t just the Americans that bring stress through bedrooms, the story of sleepless nights has become a daily heard term and one in every 5 members in every society is suffering ...

Before stress tosses you and your health further you should be equipped to toss it to thin air and go under the blanket. Here are some tips to help you combat stress and invite sleep:
You have little control on your sleep but you can control the ambience that can give you good sleep
Ensure that you’re sleeping in cool, quiet and dark room

Your mattress can’t be pain giver and sleep remover. Make sure you are sleeping on a supportive and comfortable mattress; one that isn’t too hard or too soft

Cultivate daily sleep ritual or routine
The following are tips to cultivate good sleep hygiene

Never indulge in late night activities especially watching TV

Do not consume heavily spicy or sugary foods before sleep

While daily physical exercise is recommended to relieve tension and stress, never exercise before going to bed

Avoid daytime sleeping

Alcohol and sleep do not mix well, so don’t have alcohol 4 hours before hitting bed

Don’t indulge on taking stimulants like caffeine too close before bedtime.

Cut down on tobacco as smokers have sleepless nights more often than non-smokers.
Anti stress and sleep assist go together; if you should be able to manage your stress under control you can have good sleep. If you can identify the causes of your stress then chances are that you can even eliminate them. Staying organized and disciplined by decreasing clutter around at home and work helps keep the stress at bay.
