So, if your flat TV does not come with a mounting bracket and you want to put it up, then you need to buy one separately. Here are some tips on how to find the right one that will fit the TV you had just bought.

• Look at the manual of the TV and check out the mounting guides. There are some models and brands which are only compatible with their own specific mounting brackets, and then there are others which just give the general dimensions. What you need to do is to look at the Video Electronics Standards Association or VESA.
