Philadelphia Flyers has been in the NHL since 1967, only missing the playoff for eight times. They are one of the elite teams in the NHL. As a Philadelphia resident and Flyers fan, I have grown up rooting for the orange and blackPhiladelphia Flyers . Given their strong playoff history, the Flyers have had many memorable players perform when it mattered most. Let us take a closer look at them.

Bernie Parent. He was the goalie in both of their championships in 1974 and 1975, earning MVP honors each time. Parent clinched each Stanley Cup with a shutout and help the Flyers win consecutive championships.

Reggie Leach. His best playoff season came in 1976. He scored 19 goals in that postseason, a record that still stands. Leach was so dominant that he earned playoff MVP that year despite the team losing in the Stanley Cup Finals. Leach was a key player during the 1975 Stanley Cup run as well.

Bill Barber. He was a vital contributor for the Flyers in the playoffs for many years.
