As one of the biggest British bands of all time, Take That are well known and loved around the world. If you grew up in the last 20 years, you will have heard of Take That. With a whole host of classic hits that were the staple tracks of many clubs and parties in the 90’s, they were hard to avoid, not that many people wanted to avoid them.

Music for everyone

Their music touched millions deeply, causing mass hysteria wherever they went, comparable to the Beatles in the 60’s. They left the music scene in the mid 90’s, only to return again in the late 2000’s, with a run of number one albums that have returned them to the pinnacle of British music.

If you weren’t lucky enough to catch them live the first time around, you now have a chance to catch the Take That tour 2011, which is happening across the UK. With tickets currently available, you’ll have to act fast, as they will sell out fast. With such a popular band, it is always wise to book early so to avoid the rush.

With a great back catalogue of hits, along with a few albums worth of new tracks, there will be many great tracks that you’ll ...
... love to hear live. As a 5 piece, Take That will always sound and look great, with memorable dance numbers to go with their songs.

Incredible stage performances

Known in the 90’s for their flamboyant stage shows and costumes, they helped to create the whole image of a British boy band, a concept that was taken up by bands such as Boyzone and Westlife. Even today, you can see hints of their influence in many pop bands. This is more specifically true in song writing style and structure. Many bands take their ballad writing styles from the work of Gary Barlow; he is now recognised as one of the greatest songwriters that the UK has produced in modern times, with a prolific run of hits for the band as well as for himself as a solo artist and as a writer for other artists.

Regardless of who you are or where you live in the UK, it is almost certain that you will have heard of Take That. If you’ve heard of them, then it is again highly likely that you will have heard one of their songs. If you’ve heard one of their songs, then it is likely that you will love one of their songs and so will want to experience this love live. If this is the case then now could not be a better time to be a Take That fan. With their upcoming 2011 tour, they are set to take things to a new level, and you’ll be ecstatic to be part of that.
