It is a common sense that oats has various nutrition. However, when you face so many brands of oats on the market shelves, which one would you like to choose and how do you eat it? Here I will give a clear introduction.

Pure oats is rolled by oat grain and it is flat with equivalent diameter size with soybean. Oatmeal is very viscous after cooking and it is because of the health ingredient beta glucan. The functions of lowering blood fat, reducing blood sugar and high satiety are closely related with this sticky substance. Cereal grain is a mixture of many grains such as wheat, rice, corn and barley.

There is no doubt that we choose the tasteless oatmeal. The natural grain does not contain sugar. If you cook a small bag of oat in a bowel and you can taste the sweet, it means that the half content is sugar. Do you think this kind of product has high nutrition value? How about the sugar-free products? If it has sweet taste, it must be added some special sweeteners such as cyclamate, acesulfame and aspartame. In addition, it is added starch hydrolysates, such as maltodextrin. Just like sugar, dextrin could also increase ...
... blood sugar without any other nutrition. So, do not be fooled by sugar-free and choose the pure oatmeal.

Oatmeal has sufficient high nutritional value. As a kind of staple food, the nutrition value is enough without other added ones. However, some manufactures add some nutrients not only to improve the product quality but also to advertise and attract consumer to buy it. However, these manufactured products are not better than natural products.

Natural oats have no fancy marketing and also no synthetic material. Although the taste is not so delicious and it costs time to cook it, these are the characteristics of natural products. Some consumers do not like the light taste but they are attracted by the high nutrition value, many manufactures would do some changes and even cheat consumers. So, do not be cheated by the advertisement.

From a health perspective, cooking is the better way for oatmeal. The cooked one could provide the maximum satiety and increase blood sugar slowly. Some fast pure oats are also good choices for people.
