How To Write Review For A 3d Film?

You walk into a theater to watch the latest 3D movie. You are there with a dual purpose. One is of course to enjoy the experience, but then you have the harder task of reviewing the movie too. So how does one review a 3D movie? What does one focus on? Should it be the technical imagery projection that you should be judging, or should it be the script and story line? What if it is a wonderful 3D experience but you really cannot relate to the story on screen? Does that make it a good 3D film or a bad one? After all there is nothing wrong with those beautiful fireflies shimmering around you, or that ball of fire that you had to duck. But what if, you do not have the slightest clue why the ball of fire came on at all?

I think to be fair to all films and to be fair to 3D films too, the correct way to judge it would be on both scales. But how is that fair you may say. While other films just have to prove their storyline, here’s a movie that has to keep a story line and score on imagery too. Well, yes 3D movies review would be slightly on the tougher side because it just has to prove good on both sections. But then, fact ...
... is that’s it’s a 3D film. It has taken on the task of being slightly more than routine. So, of course it has taken on itself to be judged double too. But then between story and imagery, let’s just give the projections an extra edge. After all, ‘Alice in Wonderland’ without the cats grinning teeth right in front of your face, would have been just another adaptation. So, I think it is fairly safe to say that when you review a 3D film then review it for its story, script etc definitely, but mostly review it for its 3D effects, review it for its life like feel and judge its quality on the number of times it fool
ed your brains into believing.

So next time you have to review one, sit back with your popcorn and feel free to rate is as bad if you watched it on the edge of the seat but came out feeling the oversized glasses were a total waste.
