Perhaps you can imagine a scene in a crowded marketplace or perhaps at an extremely busy airport where there is an exchange going on between some terrorists and some gunrunners. A lot of countries have their intelligence bureaus looking into this. In fact you might not know it but there will be several agents moving around under cover perhaps as a teenager sporting a pair of sleek and very dark sunglasses. He talks to one of the terrorists and without the latter knowing is able to record his voice, his features, movement and physique with the help of a video recorder that is embedded in the sunglasses he is wearing. The camera glasses or Brilcamera as they call them in Dutch are a great kind of hidden surveillance equipment. It is no wonder then that the bril met camera or glasses with camera or spectacles with camera are getting to be so popular today.

You might think that the scene that we just described has been taken right out of a James Bond movie. But today it is all very real and not just fiction like it used to be once upon a time. Today, you don’t even have to belong to the secret service in order to be able ...
... to wear the Brilcamera or spy camera glasses. There are so many companies that are manufacturing the bril met camera today and they are not just restricted to the stores; you can buy them off the Net as well.

The bril met camera doesn’t look any more different than your normal eye wear. They are so harmless to look at that they might look similar to the ones your grandmother wears or the shades that your mother wears. The Brilcamera is made especially for secret operations. They are basically meant for law enforcement and espionage. People in authority make use of them to put suspects under surveillance and get information. Private detectives also make use of spy camera glasses in order to catch erring spouses or get damaging proof that can be used in litigations.

You can easily record the actions of someone from your Brilcamera. Technology has taken such large strides when it comes to miniaturization that cameras today are so tiny that they can be even hidden in the nosepiece of a pair of spectacles. In spy camera glasses, the camera which is hidden in the nose piece may be wireless or wired. The bril met camera first records the details and then might transmit them in black and white or color depending on what it supports.

The wireless bril met camera is powered by batteries which are unlike the kind we normally use in our portable radios and are long lasting so that your Brilcamera can run for pretty long periods of time. This is a very important feature of these spy camera spectacles as you never know how long you might have to wait until your quarry appears.
