Lakefield is a beautiful little town nestled in the Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario. Just a short two hour drive from Toronto (and a mere ten minutes from Peterborough), Lakefield is best know as a community that typifies small town Ontario. It's a historic little town and the business section is lined with quaint shops, perfect for a weekend of antique hunting.

The town features waterfront parks, restaurants and the streets boast many charming original homes and churches dating back to the 1800's.
