Buying A Cute Puppy Can Be So Easy Nowadays

Me and my husband are fortunate enough to have three wonderful children who have a lot of friends. Many of their friends have pets such as rabbits, kittens and dogs. I think you know what I’m going to say. Our children have been going on about buying them a puppy for a while now. I wasn’t too sure but said I’ll have a think.

I didn’t intend to sound mean to the children when I said I would think about it, but they’re not quite old enough to realise that a puppy can be hard work. However, space is not a problem. We have a lovely large house with gardens to the front and rear, plenty of room for a puppy to exercise and explore. Once the children were asleep, my husband and I did a little research online to see which breed would be most suitable.

We learned that Labradors are extremely docile and gentle with kids whereas Westies are often yappy and poodles are sometimes aggressive. ... important having young children. It advised to check out the parents of the pup to make sure the breed is genuine and gave good advice of what food to feed it. Other articles covered were worming and vaccinations too.

After a chat we decided to buy a Labrador puppy. The kids were so overjoyed that the next day we visited various pet shops. There were quite a few pups for sale but no Labradors. We even went to a few animal rescue centres, again there were some beautiful dogs but no Labrador puppies. The kids got a bit upset so we promised them we would get together later on and have a look on the internet.

The internet is a great source of information if you want to know about the type of breeds of dogs for sale and other animals. We found out that many dogs and pups are free as long as you are prepared to take them in and provide them with a good home.

After doing some more research we came across a reputable website selling puppies and also buy and sell sites. Apparently breeders and pet owners from all over the UK advertise their animals to be bought and sold online. There were many delightful pups to choose from, however we all felt the same, it was going to be Labrador.

We chose a Labrador pup because of their temperament and wonderful personality. They are apparently easy to train, alert and extremely obedient when older. Labradors are ideal around kids and are very protective of their owners.

We bought Buster, a beautiful black Labrador online, he is now a firm favourite with all the family. The kids love him to bits, and he loves them, everyone is so happy.
