So it’s time to move; you may be excited or sad to leave your current home, but wither way it can be very stressful to move. There are many things you can do to assure you experience a smooth move to your next destination. Of course it’s up to you just how much of your move you want the removal firm to do for you. Begin by deciding whether you want to get the professional packaging materials and labels from your mover and pack the things yourself, or if you want them to pack everything, move it and unpack it at your new place. Some people pack themselves, allows the moving company to move everything and set up all furniture, but they choose to unpack the small stuff themselves. Make sure the company you choose offers you these options as they will determine the cost of your move.

What ever you decide to have them take care of, there are things you can do to make this transition easier for you and your family. Begin by separating one set of pajamas for each person in the family, tooth paste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, conditioner and bath towels into a box. Add sheets, pillows and a blanket for each bed. Pack something ...
... easy to throw together for breakfast. Keep these things with you so you know exactly where they are and you won’t find yourself digging through several boxes to locate your essentials. As soon as you know the date your removal firm will be at your home, you may also want to let your neighbors know when the moving truck will be there so they can make some extra room for him to park while he loads your things. If you pack your things yourself, you will want to make sure you clearly make all of the boxes so you or the movers will know where things belong in the new house.

Movers London will make your move go as stress free as possible. They will take care of as much or as little as you want them to, they will tailor their services to your needs. You will also want to get your boxes from a reputable company. The boxes you get from the grocery store are often not strong enough to handle what you need to pack. When you get them from Movers London they will be extra strong so nothing breaks through the sides or falls out the bottom.

You will also want to get tape especially made for packing. Packing tape may cost you a little more up front, but it sure will save you in the long run. You will also want to invest in good packing paper. The kind with bubbles will protect breakables much better than newspaper. Clearly mark each box with a short list of what it contains and what room it should go into at your destination. It is much easier to unpack the boxes in same room they need to be put in permanently.
